Born from across the Scottish border, St Columba stays close to the hearts of members across the nation. Creating a widespread community feel for all team members and their families, the club is in the community – for the community in Torpoint. Investing time into every individual who trains, plays and works with us, we continue to proudly share our open, family-friendly nature that has been within our club since 1927.
St Columba and Torpoint RFC is about more than the opportunity to play rugby itself (though of course, this is in the heart of everything we do!). Our training provides professional fitness opportunities for our players and for our youth team it creates bonds and friendships that will impact them for the rest of their lives. Seeing our team members enjoy and succeed in rugby, school and work thanks to increased fitness, focus, determination and positivity is exactly the reason why St Columba Rugby Club is such an important part of our community. We thank each and every member, staff and parent, for every contribution you make to the club.

What members are saying!

Harry attends ST Columba & Torpoint RFC Youth Section ‘The Tigers’ because he really wanted to try out rugby. First time he went he was hooked, all because of the friendly, relaxed but disciplined way the coaches are. Through the commitment and encouragement of the coaches, the boys not only work on their fitness, rugby skills but also learn life skills to help them as they grow:
T- teamwork
R-respect
E-enjoyment
D-discipline
S-sportsmanship

ST Columba & Torpoint RFC Youth Section ‘The Tigers’ has done wonders for boosting my son’s confidence. He loves being accepted as part of a team. It’s not only good for his physical health but also his mental health. I can not fault the time and commitment from the coaches and volunteers at Torpoint Tigers and would highly recommend it.
